जी भर आपने जिया, हर काम पूरा अपना किया

अपने जिद्द पर जिया, अपने जिद्द पर गए

पंचतत्व में आप विलीन हो गए

मणिकर्णिका की राख में आप मिल गए 

गँगा की लहरों में आप समा गए 

पता नहीं फिर कब आपसे मिल पाऊँगा

काशी की हवा और गँगा के पानी में 

आपको हमेशा महसूस करूंगा 

मेरी हर इच्छा आपने पूरी की

बस अपनी हिम्मत और जीवटता का आशीर्वाद दीजिए पापा

महादेव से यही विनती होगी 

की फिर आपका बेटा बन कर जन्म लूँ पापा
